Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER SELECT button (1/2), LCD display. Cuff: Air tube connector, Velcro closure, artery marker.

Display Symbols: User indicator (1/2), Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, WHO indicator (color bars), Irregular heartbeat symbol, Memory recall, Date/Time, Battery indicator, Error symbol.

Back: Battery compartment, Cuff connector port.

First-Time Setup

Prepare device before first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  4. Apply cuff correctly: Follow positioning instructions in section 7.

Tip: Wait 5 minutes after battery insertion before first use.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measurement. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare left arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Artery marker should align with brachial artery.
  3. Ensure cuff is snug but not tight. Arm should be supported at heart level.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement. Do not move arm or talk.
  6. Results display automatically with systolic, diastolic, and pulse values.
  7. Cuff deflates completely. Device stores reading automatically.
  8. Wait at least 3 minutes before next measurement on same arm.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff repeatedly in quick succession. Allow 15 minutes between measurements on same arm.

Memory Function

Device stores 60 measurements for each of 2 users.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 before measurement.
  2. Recall memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. View average: After 3 measurements, average of last 3 readings displays automatically.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold USER and MEMORY buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds (clears current user's memory only).

Note: Memory includes date, time, systolic, diastolic, pulse, and irregular heartbeat detection.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if irregular heartbeat detected during measurement. Consult physician if symbol appears frequently.

Care & Maintenance

Remove batteries before cleaning. Use slightly damp cloth only; do not immerse in water.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth. Air dry completely before storage.
  2. Clean monitor with dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Do not fold cuff tightly; avoid sharp bends in air tube.

CAUTION! Do not autoclave, sterilize, or use chemical disinfectants. Do not expose to extreme temperatures or humidity.

Note: Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period (more than 3 months).
