Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Open battery compartment on back, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Press any button to turn on device.
  3. Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to enter setup mode.
  4. Use START/STOP to adjust values, MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting.
  5. Set: Year → Month → Day → Hour → Minute → 12/24 hour format.
  6. Device automatically exits setup after last setting.

Tip: Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat on floor.
  2. Select user (1 or 2) using USER SELECT button.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Artery marker should align with brachial artery.
  4. Cuff should be snug but not tight (allow one finger underneath).
  5. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Palm up, relax.
  6. Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  7. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  8. Cuff deflates automatically. Results display with systolic, diastolic, pulse.
  9. Hypertension indicator shows color: Green (normal), Yellow (mild), Red (high).
  10. Irregular heartbeat symbol appears if detected.
  11. Device automatically stores reading and powers off after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Do not inflate cuff more than 3 times consecutively.

Memory Function

Device stores 99 measurements per user with date/time stamp.

  1. To recall memory: Press MEMORY button.
  2. Display shows most recent reading with user number.
  3. Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through stored readings.
  4. Average of last 3 readings displays after scrolling through all.
  5. To clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold START/STOP for 3 seconds.
  6. Select user to clear (1 or 2) or both.

Note: Memory full symbol appears when 99 readings stored. Oldest reading is overwritten by new one.

Care & Maintenance

Clean only with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Remove batteries if not using for more than 3 months.
  2. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Do not drop or subject to strong shocks.
  4. Keep cuff clean; hand wash with mild soap if needed, air dry completely.
  5. Do not bend air tube sharply or pull forcefully.
  6. Replace cuff if Velcro no longer holds securely.
