First-Time Setup

Prepare the monitor for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing correct polarity (+/-).
  2. Set Date and Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, USER buttons to move between settings.
  3. Attach Cuff: Ensure cuff is completely deflated and tube is securely connected to monitor.
  4. Select User: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button to select your profile (indicator lights on display).

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit comfortably with feet flat on the floor.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit correctly: Sit on a chair with back support, feet flat, legs uncrossed.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper left arm (2-3 cm above elbow). The artery marker (Φ) should align with brachial artery. Secure snugly.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table so cuff is at heart level. Relax, palm up.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not move or talk until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressure and pulse rate display. WHO indicator shows classification.
  7. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute, or press START/STOP.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not attached to arm. Maximum pressure is 299 mmHg.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: If this icon appears during measurement, an irregular heartbeat was detected. Consult your physician if it appears frequently.

Note: Blood pressure varies throughout the day. Take multiple readings at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings per user with date and time.

  1. View Memory: Press MEMORY button. Display shows average of last 3 readings.
  2. Scroll: Press USER 1 or USER 2 to scroll through individual stored readings for that user.
  3. Delete All: Press and hold MEMORY and START/STOP together for 3 seconds to delete all readings for the selected user.
  4. Memory Full: When memory is full (99 readings), the oldest reading is automatically overwritten.

Tip: Use the memory function to track your blood pressure trend over time for doctor visits.

Care & Maintenance

Unpower the device (remove batteries) before cleaning.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
