Device Overview

Front: LCD display, START/STOP button. Side: MEMORY button, AC adapter port. Bottom: Battery compartment.

Before First Use

Prepare the device for first measurement.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Select user: Briefly press MEMORY button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  4. Apply cuff correctly: Follow measurement preparation steps.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended periods.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit correctly: Sit on a chair with back support, feet flat on floor.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm. Artery mark (Φ) should align with brachial artery. Cuff edge should be 2-3 cm above elbow.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display. AFIB or irregular heartbeat symbols appear if detected.
  7. Device deflates and powers off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Understanding the Display

After measurement, the display shows:

WARNING! An AFIB reading requires consultation with a physician. Do not change medication based on home readings alone.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings for each of 2 users with date and time.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button briefly to cycle through stored readings.
  2. Delete last reading: Press and hold MEMORY button while last reading is displayed.
  3. Delete all readings for current user: With device off, press and hold MEMORY button, then press START/STOP while holding MEMORY.
  4. Switch user: Briefly press MEMORY button when device is off.

NOTE: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth if soiled. Do not machine wash or iron.
  2. Storage: Keep in provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Batteries: Replace when battery icon appears empty on display.
  4. Device accuracy: Have device checked for accuracy every 2 years by authorized service center.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble the device. No user-serviceable parts inside.
