Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD Display, START/STOP button, Memory (M) button.

Cuff: Pre-formed tube, D-Ring, air plug, artery marker.

Initial Setup

Before first measurement, install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold M button for 3 seconds until year flashes. Use START/STOP to adjust values, M to confirm and move to next setting.
  3. Connect Cuff: Plug cuff tube into connector on side of device until it clicks.
  4. Select User: Briefly press M button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 (U1/U2 appears).

Tip: For most accurate results, wait 30 minutes after eating, smoking, or exercising before measuring.

Taking a Measurement

For reliable results, sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm. Artery marker should align with brachial artery on inner arm.
  3. Cuff edge should be 2-3 cm above elbow. Tube should run down center of arm.
  4. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Relax, do not talk or move.
  5. Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still until measurement completes and cuff deflates fully.
  7. Results display with systolic, diastolic, pulse, and any detection symbols.
  8. Device automatically stores reading and powers off after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff repeatedly in quick succession. Wait 2-3 minutes between measurements.

Memory Function

Stores up to 99 readings per user with date/time stamp.

  1. View Memory: Press M button briefly to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete Last Reading: Press and hold M button while last reading is displayed until "CLr" appears.
  3. Delete All Readings: With device off, press and hold both START/STOP and M buttons for 3 seconds until all display segments appear, then release.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 2 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Store in provided case when not in use.
  2. Keep away from extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and direct sunlight.
  3. Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period.
  4. Cuff can be cleaned with mild soap and damp cloth; air dry completely before storage.
  5. Do not bend or kink cuff tube.
