Taking a Measurement

For reliable results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.

  1. Sit Correctly: Sit on a chair with back support, feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  2. Apply Cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm (left arm recommended). The bottom edge should be 2-3 cm above the elbow. The air tube should run down the center of your inner arm. Secure snugly with Velcro.
  3. Select User: Press the USER button to select USER 1 or USER 2. The corresponding icon will appear on the display.
  4. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The device will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet. Do not move your arm or talk.
  5. Read Results: After deflation, your systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse will display. The WHO bar will indicate the classification. The result is automatically saved to the selected user's memory.
  6. Power Off: The device turns off automatically about 1 minute after measurement.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff more than once within 2-3 minutes to allow circulation to return to normal.

Memory Function

The device stores 60 measurements for each of two users (M1 and M2).

  1. View Memory: Press the MEMORY button briefly. The display shows the most recent result for the selected user, along with the memory number and average of the last 3 readings.
  2. Scroll Through Memory: Press the MEMORY button repeatedly to scroll through all stored measurements for the current user, from newest to oldest.
  3. Switch User Memory: Press the USER button to switch between USER 1 and USER 2 memory banks, then press MEMORY to view.
