Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Open battery compartment on rear; insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Close compartment; device may turn on automatically.
  3. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds until display flashes. Use START/STOP to adjust values, MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting.
  4. Connect cuff: Plug cuff tube into connector port until it clicks.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if device will not be used for an extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, drinking caffeine, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat on floor, and arm resting on a table at heart level.
  2. Wrap cuff around bare upper arm (1-2 cm above elbow). Ensure artery marker (△) aligns with brachial artery.
  3. Cuff should be snug but not tight; you should fit one finger underneath.
  4. Press USER button to select your profile (U1 or U2).
  5. Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  7. Results display with systolic, diastolic, pulse, and any detection symbols.
  8. Device automatically stores reading and powers off after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Understanding Results

The display shows systolic pressure (top number), diastolic pressure (middle number), and pulse rate (bottom number).

Normal Ranges (Adults): Systolic: <120 mmHg, Diastolic: <80 mmHg. Consult your doctor for personal targets.

Memory Function

Stores up to 60 readings per user (U1 and U2).

  1. To recall memory: Press MEMORY button. Display shows average of last 3 readings.
  2. Press MEMORY again to scroll through individual stored readings with date/time.
  3. To clear memory for a user: While in memory mode for that user, press and hold START/STOP for 5 seconds until display clears.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced if done quickly (within 2 minutes).

Care & Maintenance

Unplug cuff and remove batteries before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the device and cuff. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

Storage: Keep in provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Cuff Care: Do not fold tightly or twist tube. Inspect periodically for cracks or wear.

CAUTION! Never immerse device or cuff in water. Do not attempt to repair yourself.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when low battery icon appears or device fails to turn on.

  1. Open battery compartment on rear.
  2. Remove old batteries and dispose properly.
  3. Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close compartment; device will turn on.
  5. Date/time settings may need to be reset if batteries were removed for more than 2 minutes.
