Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD display, START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button. Cuff: Arm tube with air plug, Velcro closure, artery marker.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, User icon (1 or 2), Memory icon, Battery icon, WHO classification bar, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Date/Time, Average value icon.

Buttons: START/STOP (starts/stops measurement), MEMORY (recalls stored values), USER (switches between User 1 and User 2).

Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries or connect AC adapter.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (LR6) observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect air plug to monitor socket until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 (icon appears on display).

Tip: Use new alkaline batteries for best performance. Remove batteries if not used for extended periods.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit correctly: Sit on chair with back supported, feet flat on floor.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm, artery marker over brachial artery, 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressure and pulse rate display. WHO bar shows category.
  7. Automatic deflation: Cuff deflates and device turns off after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff without it being properly wrapped on arm.

Memory Function

Stores up to 99 measurements per user with date and time.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored values.
  2. Delete memory: While in memory mode, press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to clear current user's memory.
  3. Average value: Display shows average of last 3 measurements taken within 10 minutes.
  4. Switch user: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 memory.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if irregular rhythm is detected during measurement. Consult your doctor if it appears frequently.

Care & Maintenance

Clean monitor with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.

  1. Clean cuff: Use mild soap and damp cloth, then air dry completely.
  2. Storage: Keep in storage case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Battery replacement: Replace when battery icon appears empty on display.
  4. Avoid: Dropping, extreme temperatures, humidity, and strong magnetic fields.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble the device.
