Before First Use

Prepare device for initial measurement.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START button to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  4. Apply cuff correctly: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid caffeine, smoking, or alcohol 30 minutes prior.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Apply cuff to left arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  3. Position cuff at heart level (arm resting on table).
  4. Press START button - device inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Read results on display when measurement completes.
  7. Device automatically deflates and stores reading.

Important: Do not move or talk during measurement. Wait 3 minutes between measurements.

Understanding Results

The display shows systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.

Note: Single measurements may vary. Track trends over time rather than individual readings.

Memory Function

Device stores up to 99 measurements per user (2 users total).

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average function: Shows average of last 3 measurements for current user.
  3. Delete memory: Press and hold MEMORY and START buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. User selection: Press USER button to switch between User 1 and User 2 memory.

Tip: Record measurements in a log book along with date, time, and any symptoms.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth only. Do not machine wash.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry, soft cloth. Do not use chemicals or abrasives.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Remove batteries if device not used for extended period.
  5. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
