First-Time Setup

Prepare the monitor for first use.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps precisely.

  1. Prepare: Sit comfortably on a chair with back support. Rest for 5 minutes. Place feet flat on the floor.
  2. Apply Cuff: Bare your left arm (or arm as recommended by your doctor). Pass the end of the cuff through the D-Ring. Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm, 1-2 cm above the elbow. The air tube should run down the center of your inner arm.
  3. Position: Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Relax your hand, palm up.
  4. Measure: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and the cuff deflates.
  5. Read Results: Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. Note any flashing IHD symbol.
  6. Power Off: The device turns off automatically after about 1 minute, or press START/STOP to turn off immediately.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure the cuff is at heart level for accuracy.

Memory Function

The monitor stores the last 30 readings for each user (User A and User B).

  1. Select User: Before measurement, press the Memory (M) button to toggle between User A and User B. The corresponding letter will show on the display.
  2. Recall Memory: With the device off, press and hold the Memory (M) button for 3 seconds. The display will show the average of the last 3 readings stored for the selected user. Press the M button repeatedly to scroll through individual stored readings (most recent first).
  3. Clear Memory: To delete all readings for the currently selected user, enter memory recall mode, then press and hold both the START/STOP and Memory buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until "CLr" appears.

Proper care ensures longevity and accuracy.

  1. Cleaning: Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.
  2. Storage: Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and direct sunlight.
  3. Cuff Care: Do not fold the cuff tightly or twist the air tube. Remove the cuff from the monitor if storing for a long period.
  4. Do Not: Disassemble the unit, subject it to strong shocks, or attempt repairs yourself.
