Safety Information

Read all instructions before use. For accurate measurements and safe operation.

  1. Intended Use: For non-invasive measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate from the upper arm.
  2. Do not use on infants, or persons with pre-existing conditions without consulting a physician.
  3. Do not use during MRI examinations or in oxygen-rich environments.
  4. Ensure cuff is correctly positioned; improper placement can cause inaccurate readings.

First-Time Setup

Insert batteries and set date/time before first use.

  1. Open battery compartment on back of unit; insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Press the MEMORY button to turn on the device.
  3. Use the START/STOP button to set the correct date and time (display will guide you).
  4. Select user memory (User 1 or User 2) by pressing MEMORY button until desired user icon appears.
  5. Device is now ready for measurement.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if device will not be used for an extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff around bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Artery marker should align with brachial artery.
  3. Ensure cuff is snug but not tight; you should fit one finger between cuff and arm.
  4. Rest arm on table so cuff is at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Results will display with systolic, diastolic pressures, and pulse rate.
  8. Cuff will deflate automatically. Device stores result in selected user memory.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function & Data Review

Supports two independent user memories.

  1. Select User: Press MEMORY button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 icons.
  2. Review Memory: With device ON, press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to enter review mode.
  3. Navigate: Use START/STOP button to scroll through stored measurements (most recent first).
  4. View Average: In review mode, device displays average of last 3 measurements for current user.
  5. Exit: Press MEMORY button again or wait for automatic power-off.
  6. Clear Memory: In review mode, press and hold both START/STOP and MEMORY buttons for 5 seconds to clear current user's memory.

WARNING! Clearing memory is permanent. Consider recording important readings elsewhere before clearing.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth only; do not use liquids, solvents, or abrasives.

  1. Cuff: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent if soiled. Allow to dry completely before use.
  2. Device Body: Clean with dry cloth.
  3. Storage: Store in carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Do not immerse any part of the device in water.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device. No user-serviceable parts inside.
