Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, Memory (M) button, User Select (1/2) button.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, User indicator (1 or 2), Memory full icon, Battery low icon, Irregular Heartbeat symbol (heart with *), WHO classification bar, Average icon, Date/Time.

Cuff: Marked with artery index line. Velcro closure.

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment on back, insert 4xAAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold M button for 3 seconds. Use START button to adjust values. Press M to confirm.
  3. Select User: Press User button (1/2) to choose your profile (User 1 or User 2).
  4. Apply Cuff Correctly: See section on Taking a Measurement.

Tip: For most accurate results, take measurements at the same time each day, before medication or meals.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate reading.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit comfortably with feet flat on the floor.
  2. Wrap the cuff on your bare upper arm. The bottom edge should be 2-3 cm above elbow. Artery mark (▲) should align with brachial artery.
  3. Secure cuff snugly, not too tight. Arm should be supported on a table, palm up.
  4. Press the START button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and silent until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  6. Read your systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate on the display.
  7. The result is automatically saved to the selected user's memory.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

Understanding Results

The display shows systolic/diastolic pressure (mmHg) and pulse rate (BPM).

WHO Classification Bar: Appears to the right of values. - Green Zone: Optimal/Normal. - Yellow Zone: High-Normal/Grade 1 Hypertension. - Red Zone: Grade 2/Grade 3 Hypertension.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol (IHD): If this icon flashes during or after measurement, it may indicate an irregular pulse. Consult your physician if it appears frequently.

Average (AVG): After 3 measurements taken within 10 minutes, the average icon lights up, showing the mean of the last 3 readings.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings per user with date and time.

  1. To recall memory: Press the M button. The most recent reading appears.
  2. Press M again to scroll through previous readings.
  3. Press and hold M for 3 seconds in memory mode to delete ALL readings for the current user.
  4. Switch between User 1 and User 2 memory by pressing the User button.

Note: When memory is full, the oldest reading is automatically overwritten.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

CAUTION! Do not immerse any part in water. Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the unit.
