Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold M button for 3 seconds, use Start/Stop to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert air tube connector firmly into main unit socket.
  4. Test device: Apply cuff properly and take a practice measurement.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit quietly in a chair.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps precisely.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat on floor.
  2. Remove tight clothing from left arm (use left arm unless instructed otherwise).
  3. Wrap cuff 1-2 cm above elbow with tube facing downward.
  4. Secure cuff snugly but not too tight (should fit one finger underneath).
  5. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  6. Press Start/Stop button. Device will inflate automatically.
  7. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  8. Results display with systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
  9. Device deflates automatically. Record results if needed.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure proper cuff position.

Memory Function

Store and review measurements.

  1. Select user: Press User button (1 or 2) before measurement.
  2. Automatic storage: Measurements save with date/time after completion.
  3. Recall memory: Press M button to scroll through stored values.
  4. View average: Hold M button for 3 seconds to see average of last 3 readings.
  5. Clear memory: Remove batteries for >30 seconds (clears all data).

Tip: Use User 1 and User 2 for separate profiles (e.g., two family members).

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accuracy and longevity.

  1. Clean cuff with damp cloth only; do not immerse in water.
  2. Store in provided case away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  3. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
