Initial Setup

Power on the device and configure basic settings.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date & Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Select User: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2 for separate memory.
  4. Cuff Application: Wrap cuff snugly around bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery marker with brachial artery.

Tip: For most accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for a proper reading.

  1. Sit correctly: Sit on a chair with back support, feet flat on floor, legs uncrossed.
  2. Position arm: Rest arm on a table so cuff is at heart level.
  3. Connect cuff: Plug air tube into device socket.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display after cuff deflates.
  7. For MAM mode: Press MAM button before starting. Device takes 3 readings with 30-second pauses and displays average.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm.

Understanding Your Results

The display shows systolic (high number) and diastolic (low number) pressure in mmHg, and pulse rate in BPM.

Hypertension Indicator (Bar Graph): - Green: Optimal/Normal (<130/85 mmHg) - Yellow: High Normal (130-139/85-89 mmHg) - Orange: Grade 1 Hypertension (140-159/90-99 mmHg) - Red: Grade 2 or 3 Hypertension (>=160/100 mmHg)

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if an irregular rhythm is detected during measurement. Consult your doctor if it appears frequently.

Memory & Data Management

Stores 99 readings per user.

  1. View Memory: Press MEMORY button once to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete Last Reading: Press and hold MEMORY button while last reading is displayed.
  3. Delete All for Current User: With device off, press and hold MEMORY and USER buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Data Transfer: Connect USB cable (optional) to PC and use Microlife software to download readings.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug cuff and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean casing with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth. Air dry completely.
  3. Store in provided case in a cool, dry place.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.
  5. Do not expose to direct sunlight, heat, or humidity.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Do not attempt to repair device yourself.
