Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, Memory button (M1/M2), LCD display. Cuff: Velcro closure, air tube connector, artery marker.

Display Symbols: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, User indicator (1 or 2), WHO classification bar, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Cuff fit indicator, Battery icon, Date/Time, Memory average.

Buttons: START/STOP (power on/off, start measurement), M1 (select User 1 memory), M2 (select User 2 memory).

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press and hold START/STOP for 3 seconds. Use M1/M2 to adjust values, START/STOP to confirm.
  3. Attach Cuff: Connect cuff tube to device port until it clicks.
  4. Select User: Press M1 for User 1 or M2 for User 2. Corresponding icon appears.

Tip: Wait 30 minutes after exercise, eating, or bathing before measuring.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Artery marker over brachial artery.
  3. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Palm up, relax.
  4. Press START/STOP. Device inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet until measurement completes and cuff deflates.
  6. Results display with pulse rate. WHO indicator shows category.
  7. Device powers off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is not too tight or loose.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if irregular pulse detected during measurement. If frequent, consult physician.

Memory Function

Stores 30 measurements per user with date and time.

  1. Select User: Press M1 (User 1) or M2 (User 2).
  2. View Memory: Press and hold corresponding M button for 3 seconds. Scroll through stored values with START/STOP.
  3. View Average: Average of last 3 measurements displays after current reading.
  4. Clear Memory: With device off, press and hold both M1 and M2 for 5 seconds until display clears.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug cuff tube and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean casing with soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  2. Cuff may be hand-washed in mild soapy water. Air dry completely before use.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Do not drop or subject to strong shocks.

CAUTION! Never immerse device in water. Do not attempt to repair or disassemble.

Battery Information

Note: Do not use rechargeable or carbon-zinc batteries. Remove batteries if device not used for extended period.
