First-Time Setup

Prepare device for first measurement.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, tube aligned with artery.
  4. Rest: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Tip: Ensure cuff is snug but not tight; you should fit one finger underneath.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow proper procedure.

  1. Sit comfortably on chair with back supported, feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  3. Press USER 1 or USER 2 to select user profile.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Reading displays when measurement is complete. Cuff deflates automatically.
  7. Record results if desired. Device stores automatically.
  8. Wait at least 3 minutes before next measurement on same arm.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Remove tight clothing from arm.

Memory Function

Stores up to 99 measurements per user (2 users total).

  1. View Memory: Press MEMORY button once to see last reading. Press again to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average Value: After 3+ readings, display shows average of last 3 when memory is accessed.
  3. Delete Memory: Press and hold USER 1 and USER 2 simultaneously for 5 seconds to clear all readings for active user.
  4. Date/Time Stamp: Each stored reading includes date and time of measurement.

Tip: Regular tracking helps monitor trends. Share memory data with healthcare provider.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accuracy and longevity.
