Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
Select user: Press USER SELECT to choose User 1 or User 2.
Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.
Position: Sit comfortably with feet flat, back supported, arm at heart level.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid caffeine, smoking, or exercise 30 minutes prior.

Taking a Measurement

Follow proper procedure for accurate results.

Sit correctly: Feet flat, back straight, arm supported at heart level.
Apply cuff: 2-3 cm above elbow, snug but not tight.
Press START/STOP: Device will inflate automatically.
Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
Read results: Systolic, diastolic, pulse rate displayed.
Note symbols: Irregular heartbeat icon if detected.
Check WHO colors: Green (normal), Yellow (elevated), Red (high).
Automatic deflation: Cuff deflates completely after reading.
Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff manually. Excessive pressure may cause injury.

Memory Function

Store and review measurements for tracking.

Select user: Press USER SELECT to choose User 1 or User 2.
Automatic storage: Each measurement is saved with date/time.
View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through readings.
Average calculation: Last 3 readings average displayed when memory viewed.
Memory full: "FULL" symbol appears when 99 readings stored per user.
Clear memory: Press and hold USER SELECT for 5 seconds to clear current user's memory.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced (within 5 minutes).

Care & Maintenance

Troubleshooting
