  1. Medical Device: This monitor is a screening device, not a diagnostic tool. Consult your physician for diagnosis and treatment.
  2. Contraindications: Do not use on an arm with an intravenous drip or arterial shunt.
  3. Pre-measurement: Rest for 5 minutes, avoid caffeine, smoking, and exercise 30 minutes prior.
  4. Cuff Placement: Apply cuff to bare upper arm at heart level. Ensure tube runs down the center of the arm.
  5. Power: Use only the specified AC adapter or 4 AA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.

WARNING! Do not use this device if you have atrial fibrillation or other persistent arrhythmias unless approved by your doctor. The AFIB detection is for screening only.

First-Time Setup

  1. Insert Batteries/Connect Power: Open battery compartment and insert 4 AA batteries (observe polarity), or plug in the AC adapter to the DC IN jack.
  2. Set Date & Time: Press and hold the TIME SET button. Use START/STOP to adjust values and MEMORY to confirm and move to the next setting.
  3. Attach Cuff: Plug the cuff tube firmly into the socket on the side of the monitor.
  4. Install PC Software: Insert the provided CD or download the latest "Microlife Health Management Software" from the official website. Install on your computer.

CAUTION! Do not over-tighten the cuff connector. Ensure the cuff is completely deflated before first use.

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate results, follow these steps:

  1. Prepare: Sit quietly on a chair with back support for 5 minutes. Place feet flat on the floor.
  2. Apply Cuff: Wrap the cuff on your bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above the elbow. The artery mark (△) should be over the inner arm. The tube should run down the center of your arm.
  3. Position Arm: Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Relax your palm upward.
  4. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain Still: Do not move or talk during inflation and measurement.
  6. Read Results: After deflation, your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. The WHO indicator bar will show the classification. An irregular heartbeat or AFIB symbol will appear if detected.
  7. Power Off: The device will automatically turn off after 1 minute, or press START/STOP to turn off immediately.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

PC Connectivity & Software

Transfer readings to your computer for detailed tracking, graphs, and reports.

  1. Connect: Use the provided USB cable to connect the monitor to your computer's USB port.
  2. Open Software: Launch the Microlife Health Management Software on your PC.
  3. Transfer Data: Follow the on-screen instructions in the software to download all stored readings from the monitor's memory.
  4. View & Analyze: The software organizes readings by date, user, and time. You can view trends, print reports, or export data.

Note: Ensure the monitor is turned on when connecting to the PC. The software may require an initial setup to create user profiles.

Memory Function

The device stores up to 99 readings for each of 2 users.

Warning: Deleting memory is permanent. Transfer data to your PC first if you wish to keep a record.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

  1. Cleaning: Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.
  2. Storage: Disconnect the cuff tube, loosely coil it, and store all components in the provided case in a cool, dry place.
  3. Cuff Care: Do not fold the cuff tightly or crease the air tube. Check the cuff and tube for cracks or leaks periodically.
  4. Batteries: Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
