Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD display, START/STOP button, MEMORY button, User selector (User 1/User 2).

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Plug cuff tube into connector on side of device until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press User button to choose User 1 or User 2 (appears on display).

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Align artery marker with brachial artery (inner arm).
  4. Keep arm relaxed on table, cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button - device inflates automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Read results when deflation completes (systolic, diastolic, pulse).
  8. Note AFIB symbol if irregular heartbeat detected.
  9. Device automatically stores reading and powers off after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Device stores up to 99 readings per user (2 users total).

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Each reading shows: Date, Time, Systolic/Diastolic, Pulse, AFIB status.
  3. Average function: Displays average of last 3 readings when in memory mode.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode (clears current user's data).
  5. Switch users: Press User button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 memory.

NOTE: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced (briefly).

AFIB Detection

The patented AFIB technology screens for atrial fibrillation during measurement.

IMPORTANT: AFIB detection is a screening tool. Always consult healthcare professional for diagnosis.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and device longevity.

  1. Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not use liquids or solvents.
  2. Clean cuff with damp cloth if soiled; ensure completely dry before use.
  3. Store in provided case when not in use, away from extreme temperatures/humidity.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  5. Do not disassemble device - no user-serviceable parts inside.
  6. Avoid dropping or subjecting to strong impacts.
