Initial Setup
Before first use, install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date/time, and select user.
- Power: Insert 4 AA batteries (observe polarity) or connect AC adapter.
- Set Date/Time: Press and hold D/T button. Use START/STOP to adjust values, press M to confirm and move to next setting.
- Select User: Press M button to toggle between User 1 and User 2. Corresponding icon will appear on display.
- Apply Cuff: Place cuff on bare upper left arm (approx. 2 cm above elbow). Ensure tube runs down center of arm. Secure with Velcro.
Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.
Taking a Measurement
For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day.
- Sit in a quiet place. Rest for 5 minutes. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.
- Wrap cuff correctly on left arm. Arm should be relaxed on a table, palm up, cuff at heart level.
- Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
- Remain still and quiet. Cuff will deflate automatically.
- Results (Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse) will display with WHO indicator. "IHD" symbol may appear if irregular heartbeat is detected.
- Measurement is automatically stored in memory for the selected user.
- Device powers off automatically after 1 minute.
WARNING! Do not inflate cuff without it being properly wrapped on the arm.
Understanding Results
The display shows three main values and classification.
- Systolic Pressure: Top number (e.g., 120). Pressure when heart beats.
- Diastolic Pressure: Bottom number (e.g., 80). Pressure when heart rests between beats.
- Pulse Rate: Beats per minute (e.g., 72).
- WHO Indicator Bar: Green (Normal), Yellow (Mild/Moderate), Red (Severe).
- IHD Symbol: Appears if an irregular heartbeat is detected during measurement. Consult your physician if this appears frequently.

Memory Function
Stores 60 measurements for each of two users (120 total).
- View Memory: Press M button once. The last measurement for the selected user appears.
- Scroll Memory: Press M button repeatedly to scroll through all stored measurements for that user in reverse chronological order.
- View Average: After scrolling through all readings, the display will show "AVG" and the average of the last 3 measurements.
- Clear Memory: To clear memory for the selected user, remove batteries while the memory screen is displayed. All data for that user will be erased.
- Memory Full: A "MEM FULL" icon appears when 60 measurements are stored. Oldest reading is automatically overwritten by the 61st.
Care & Maintenance
Unplug AC adapter or remove batteries before cleaning.
- Cleaning: Wipe monitor and cuff with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Do not bend the air tube sharply. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Batteries: Replace all 4 batteries when low battery icon appears. Use alkaline batteries. Remove batteries if device will not be used for an extended period.
- Cuff: The cuff is not washable. Keep it clean and dry. Check for cracks or leaks periodically.
CAUTION! Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself.

Troubleshooting
