AFIB Detection

The patented AFIB detection screens for atrial fibrillation during measurement.

  1. AFIB symbol appears on display if irregular heartbeat pattern suggestive of AFIB is detected.
  2. AFIB detection occurs during normal measurement - no special procedure needed.
  3. If AFIB symbol appears: Take 2 more measurements at 1-minute intervals.
  4. If AFIB appears in 2 of 3 measurements: Consult your physician with results.
  5. AFIB detection does not diagnose atrial fibrillation - physician confirmation required.

Important: AFIB detection is a screening tool only. Always consult your physician for diagnosis.
