Initial Setup

First-time preparation steps:

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper left arm (2-3 cm above elbow). Ensure tube runs down center of arm.
  4. Position: Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat, arm resting on table at heart level.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings:

  1. Select user: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button (icon appears on display).
  2. Apply cuff correctly as described in Initial Setup.
  3. Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during inflation and measurement.
  5. Reading displays: Systolic, diastolic pressures and pulse rate appear.
  6. WHO indicator shows color zone (green/yellow/red).
  7. If irregular heartbeat detected, symbol appears after measurement.
  8. Device deflates automatically. Remove cuff.

WARNING! Do not over-tighten cuff. Stop measurement if pain or discomfort occurs.

Memory Function

Device stores 60 measurements for each of 2 users.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average value: Last 3 measurements average displays when scrolling.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold USER 1 and USER 2 simultaneously for 3 seconds (all data erased).
  4. Memory full: Symbol appears when 60 measurements stored per user.

Note: Date and time stored with each measurement.

WHO Indicator & Irregular Heartbeat Detection

WHO Classification: Color bar on display indicates: Green (Optimal/Normal), Yellow (High Normal/Mild Hypertension), Red (Moderate/Severe Hypertension).

Irregular Heartbeat Detection: Symbol appears if irregular rhythm detected during measurement. Consult physician if symbol appears frequently.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug air tube and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean cuff with damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not machine wash.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry soft cloth.
  3. Store in case provided, away from extreme temperatures, humidity, dust.
  4. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water. Avoid chemicals, direct sunlight, strong impacts.

Battery Replacement

Replace when low battery symbol appears.

  1. Open battery compartment cover.
  2. Remove old batteries.
  3. Insert 4 new AA batteries (1.5V) observing correct polarity.
  4. Close cover securely.

Warning: Use only recommended battery type. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
