Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, Memory (M) button, User Select (1/2) button, LCD display. Cuff: Connector port, Velcro closure, air tube.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, User indicator (1 or 2), Memory full icon, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Battery low icon, WHO classification bar, Date and Time.

Setup: Set date and time via the SET button (press and hold for 3 seconds). Memory: Press M to recall stored values. User: Press User button to switch between User 1 and User 2 profiles.

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter. Set date and time.

  1. Open battery compartment on the back; insert 4 AA batteries matching polarity marks.
  2. To set date/time: Press and hold the SET button until the year flashes. Use START/STOP to adjust, press SET to confirm and move to month, day, hour, minute.
  3. Attach cuff: Plug the cuff tube firmly into the connector port on the left side of the monitor.

Tip: For first use, perform a practice measurement to familiarize yourself with the process.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day, before medication.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes with feet flat on the floor, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Tube should run down the center of your inner arm.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  4. Select user: Press the User button (1 or 2) if multiple users.
  5. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still: Do not talk or move during inflation and deflation.
  7. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. The WHO bar will indicate your category.
  8. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute, or press START/STOP.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around an arm.

Memory Function

Stores 99 measurements per user with date and time.

  1. Recall memory: Press the M button. The most recent reading displays.
  2. Scroll: Press M again to scroll through previous readings in reverse chronological order.
  3. View average: After displaying three stored readings taken within 10 minutes, the average of those three will show.
  4. Clear memory: To clear all memory for the current user, press and hold the M button for 5 seconds while in memory mode. 'CLR' will flash.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: If this icon appears, it may indicate pulse irregularities. Consult your physician if it appears frequently.

Care & Maintenance

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  2. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period (more than 3 months).
  3. Inspect the cuff regularly for cracks, tears, or loose stitching.
  4. Do not bend or kink the air tube.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the monitor. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
