Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert air tube connector into monitor socket until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button to choose user profile.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if not used for extended periods.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes with feet flat on floor.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Artery marker should align with brachial artery.
  3. Position arm: Keep cuff at heart level. Rest arm on table.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  6. Read results: Display shows systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate.
  7. Cuff deflates: Automatically after reading is complete.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings per user with date and time.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average reading: After 3+ readings, display shows average of last 3 measurements.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold USER button for 5 seconds while in memory mode.
  4. Switch users: Press USER 1 or USER 2 to access different memory sets.

Note: Memory full icon appears when 99 readings are stored. Oldest reading is overwritten.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug air tube and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean monitor: Use slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Clean cuff: Wipe with mild soap solution. Do not machine wash.
  3. Storage: Keep in case provided, away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
  4. Batteries: Replace when low battery icon appears. Use alkaline batteries.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble device.
