Before First Use

Prepare the device for initial measurement.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date & Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper left arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Tube aligns with artery.
  4. Rest Position: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring. Keep feet flat, back supported.

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, or caffeine 30 minutes before measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit correctly: As described in Before First Use.
  2. Select User: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  3. Start Measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff inflates automatically.
  4. Remain Still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  5. Read Results: Display shows systolic, diastolic, pulse. Irregular heartbeat symbol if detected.
  6. Device automatically deflates and powers off after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff without proper arm placement to avoid injury.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if irregular pulse is detected. Consult physician if frequent.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings per user (2 users total).

  1. View Memory: Press MEMORY button. Display shows average of last 3 readings.
  2. Scroll: Press START/STOP to scroll through individual readings with date/time.
  3. Clear Memory: Press and hold MEMORY and USER simultaneously for 3 seconds (resets current user's memory).

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced if done within 2 minutes.

Battery & Power

CAUTION! Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended periods. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Care & Cleaning

Remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Wipe monitor and cuff with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
  3. Store in provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Inspect cuff periodically for cracks or leaks.
