Initial Setup

Before first use:

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Plug cuff tube into device port until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results:

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit comfortably with back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Artery line should align with brachial artery.
  3. Keep cuff at heart level. Rest arm on table with palm up.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement. Do not move arm or talk.
  6. Results display: Systolic, diastolic, pulse rate. WHO indicator shows classification.
  7. Device automatically deflates and stores reading if memory is on.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

2-user memory with 99 measurements each:

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 icon.
  2. Memory recall: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average calculation: Displays average of last 3 measurements for selected user.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold USER and MEMORY simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  5. Date/Time stamp: Each reading includes date and time of measurement.

Note: When memory is full, oldest reading is automatically deleted for new one.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug/battery removal before cleaning. Use slightly damp cloth; do not immerse in water.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth. Do not machine wash.
  2. Clean device with dry or slightly damp cloth. No solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store in case provided. Keep in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended period (more than 3 months).

CAUTION! Do not disassemble device. No user-serviceable parts inside.
