Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, Memory button, User button (1/2), Display screen. Cuff: Air tube connector, Velcro closure, artery marker.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, User indicator, Battery indicator, WHO classification bar, PAD symbol, Date/Time, Memory recall.

First-Time Setup

Prepare device for first measurement.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  4. Apply cuff correctly: Place on bare upper arm with artery marker over brachial artery.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff to left upper arm (unless instructed otherwise).
  3. Position arm so cuff is at heart level.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Read results on display when measurement completes.
  7. Press START/STOP to turn off, or wait for auto power-off.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at correct tightness.

Memory Function

Store and review past measurements.

  1. To store: Measurements are automatically saved to selected user's memory.
  2. To recall: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. To clear: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode.
  4. User selection: Press USER button to switch between User 1 and User 2 memory.

Note: Memory stores date, time, systolic, diastolic, pulse, and any PAD detection.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug or remove batteries before cleaning. Use only mild soap and damp cloth.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap solution; air dry completely.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry or slightly damp cloth.
  3. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  5. Do not immerse any part in water.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble device.
