Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds, use START to adjust values.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Position: Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat, arm resting at heart level.

CAUTION! Do not use on injured or sore arm. Ensure cuff is not too tight before inflation.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit quietly in correct position with cuff properly applied.
  2. Press START button: Device will inflate automatically.
  3. Remain still and quiet during inflation and measurement.
  4. Reading appears: Systolic, diastolic, pulse rate displayed.
  5. WHO indicator lights show classification (green/yellow/red).
  6. Device deflates completely; you may remove cuff.
  7. Reading is automatically stored in memory.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores 60 readings with date/time stamp.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average function: Shows average of last 3 readings when in memory mode.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY for 10 seconds until display clears.
  4. Memory full: Oldest reading is overwritten when memory exceeds 60 readings.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced (within 2 minutes).

Care & Maintenance

Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble device.
