Initial Setup

Prepare device before first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.

  4. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm with artery marker over brachial artery.
  4. Position cuff 2-3 cm above elbow with tube facing downward.
  5. Keep arm at heart level on table.
  6. Press START button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  7. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  8. Reading displays when measurement complete. Cuff deflates automatically.
  9. Record reading if desired, or it automatically stores to memory.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

Memory & Data Management

Device stores 99 readings per user (2 users total).

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete single reading: Display reading, press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds.
  3. Delete all readings: In memory mode, press and hold USER button for 5 seconds.
  4. Average reading: Device automatically calculates average of last 3 readings.
  5. User selection: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 2 minutes.
