Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD display, START/STOP button, Memory (M) button.

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold M button for 3 seconds until date flashes. Use START/STOP to adjust values, M to confirm.
  3. Select user: Briefly press M button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  4. Apply cuff correctly: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is not twisted and tube is not kinked. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps:

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest arm on table with palm up, cuff at heart level.
  3. Wrap cuff snugly around bare upper arm (not over clothing).
  4. Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Reading displays with systolic/diastolic pressures and pulse rate.
  7. Device automatically deflates and stores reading in memory.
  8. Wait 2-3 minutes between measurements on same arm.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings for each of two users with date/time stamp.

  1. View memory: Press M button briefly to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Clear memory: Press and hold M button for 5 seconds while in memory mode.
  3. User selection: Press M button when device is off to select User 1 or User 2.
  4. Memory full: Oldest reading automatically deleted when memory exceeds 99 readings.

Note: Memory is preserved when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Color-coded bar on display shows blood pressure category according to WHO guidelines:

Battery & Power

  3. Do not expose to extreme temperatures, humidity, or dust.
