Device Overview

First-Time Setup

Prepare the device for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing correct polarity.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press and hold the Memory (M) button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, Memory button to confirm and move to next setting.
  3. Attach Cuff: Connect cuff tube to the port on the side of the monitor until it clicks.
  4. User Selection: Press the User button (1/2) to select user profile 1 or 2 before measurement.

CAUTION! Use only recommended battery type. Remove batteries if device will not be used for an extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day, before meals or medication.

  1. Rest: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid caffeine, exercise, and smoking for 30 minutes prior.
  2. Position: Sit with back straight, feet flat on floor. Place arm on table so cuff is at heart level.
  3. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff snugly around bare upper arm (1-2 cm above elbow). Align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Start Measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain Still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  6. Read Results: Systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. AFIB or irregular heartbeat symbols will appear if detected.
  7. Cuff Deflation: Cuff deflates automatically. Device powers off after 1 minute, or press START/STOP to turn off.

Tip: Take 2-3 readings, 1 minute apart, and record the average.

Understanding Results

The LCD display shows your measurement results and indicators.

Note: A single AFIB detection does not constitute a medical diagnosis. Consult a healthcare professional.

Memory Function

The device stores readings separately for two users.

  1. Select User: Before measuring, press User button (1/2) to choose profile 1 or 2.
  2. View Memory: After taking a measurement, press the Memory (M) button to scroll through stored readings for the selected user. The display shows average of last 3 readings.
  3. Clear Memory: To delete all memories for the current user, press and hold the Memory (M) button while in memory review mode until "CLR" appears.

WARNING! Clearing memory is permanent. Consider recording important readings elsewhere.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble the device. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.

Battery Information

Disposal: Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Do not incinerate.
