Taking a Measurement

  4. Start Measurement: Press START/STOP. The cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet.
  5. Read Results: After deflation, systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate display. The WHO bar graph and any detection symbols (AFIB, Irregular Heartbeat) will show.
  6. The device automatically stores the reading and powers off after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

The device stores the last 99 readings for each of two users, along with date and time.

  1. Recall Memory: Press the Memory button briefly while the device is off. The display shows the last reading for the selected user.
  2. Scroll: Press START/STOP to scroll through previous readings in reverse chronological order.
  3. View Average: After the third stored reading, the average icon appears. The average of the last 3 readings (taken within 10 minutes) is displayed at the end of the memory recall sequence.
  4. Clear Memory: To clear memory for a specific user, remove that user's batteries while in memory recall mode for that user. All memory for that user will be erased.

WHO Indicator Bar: Color-coded segments (from left: Hypotension, Normal, High-Normal, Hypertension Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3). A marker shows where your reading falls.

Symbols:
- AFIB Symbol: Flashes if possible Atrial Fibrillation is detected. Consult a doctor.
- Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if significant pulse irregularity is detected during measurement.
- Error Symbol (E): Appears with a code (e.g., E1, E5) if a measurement error occurs. See troubleshooting.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device and cuff with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use harsh chemicals.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
