Initial Setup

Power on device; set date and time.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably: Back supported, feet flat on floor, arm resting on table at heart level.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm. ARTERY line should align with brachial artery. Cuff edge 2-3 cm above elbow.
  3. Secure cuff: Wrap snugly, not tight. Tube on inner arm.
  4. Select user: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button.
  5. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff inflates automatically.
  6. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  7. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, pulse appear. WHO indicator lights.
  8. AFIB/Irregular heartbeat: Corresponding symbol appears if detected.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm.

Memory & Data Management

Stores 99 readings per user with date/time stamp.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete memory: Press and hold USER button for 5 seconds while in memory mode.
  3. Average reading: Automatically calculated from last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.
  4. Data transfer: Connect to PC via USB to export all readings.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

PC Connectivity

Use Health Management Software to track trends.

  1. Install software: Insert CD, follow on-screen instructions.
  2. Connect device: Use USB cable to connect monitor to computer.
