Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter. Set date and time.

  1. Open battery compartment on back; insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Press any button to turn on device.
  3. Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to enter setup mode.
  4. Use START/STOP to adjust values; MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting.
  5. Set date (DD.MM.YYYY), time (24-hour format), and user assignment.

Tip: For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day under consistent conditions.

Taking a Measurement

Proper positioning is critical for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Ensure cuff fits snugly; tube aligns with middle of arm.
  5. Press START/STOP button; device will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Reading displays when measurement complete; cuff deflates automatically.
  8. Record reading if desired; device stores automatically.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

AFIB Symbol: If appears, possible atrial fibrillation detected. Consult physician.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if irregular pulse detected during measurement.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings each for User 1 and User 2 with date/time stamp.

  1. Press MEMORY button to view stored readings.
  2. Use START/STOP to scroll through readings.
  3. Press User Select button to switch between User 1 and User 2 memory.
  4. To clear memory: In memory mode, press and hold MEMORY for 5 seconds until display clears.
  5. Automatic average: When three readings taken within 10 minutes, average displays automatically.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 99 readings stored. Clear memory or overwrite oldest readings.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water.

  1. Remove batteries if device not used for extended period.
  2. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth if soiled; air dry completely.
  4. Do not expose to extreme temperatures, humidity, or dust.
  5. Replace batteries when low battery indicator appears.
