Device Overview

Before First Use

Power on device; set date and time for accurate record keeping.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Select User: Press SET briefly to toggle between User 1 and User 2 icons.
  4. Apply Cuff: Ensure cuff is correctly sized and positioned on bare upper arm.

CAUTION! Use correct cuff size. An ill-fitting cuff can cause inaccurate readings.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit correctly: Sit on a chair with back support, feet flat on the floor.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on left upper arm (2-3 cm above elbow). Tube should run down center of arm.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on a table so cuff is at heart level.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressure and pulse rate display. WHO indicator lights.
  7. Device deflates and powers off automatically.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Understanding Your Results

The device displays systolic pressure (higher number), diastolic pressure (lower number), and pulse rate.

WHO Indicator: Color-coded bar on the right side of the display: - Green: Optimal/Normal blood pressure. - Yellow: High-Normal/Mild Hypertension. - Orange: Moderate Hypertension. - Red: Severe Hypertension.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: If this icon appears during or after measurement, it may indicate a pulse irregularity. Consult your physician if it appears frequently.

Average Value: The average of the last 3 readings (taken within 10 minutes) is displayed after the third measurement.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings for each of two users.

  1. Select User: Press SET button to choose User 1 or User 2 icon.
  2. Recall Memory: Press and hold START/STOP button for 3 seconds to enter memory mode. Press briefly to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Delete Memory: In memory mode, press and hold SET button to delete all readings for the selected user.

WARNING! Deleting memory is permanent. Ensure you have recorded important readings elsewhere.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.

  1. Cuff: Clean with mild soap and water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  2. Device: Wipe display and body with dry cloth.
  3. Storage: Keep in provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble the device.
