  4. Do not use while moving, talking, or immediately after eating, drinking, or exercise.

Device Overview

Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date/time, attach cuff.

  1. Power source: Insert 4 AA batteries or connect AC adapter to socket.
  2. Set date/time: Press SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
  3. Cuff placement: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. User selection: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  5. Connect to PC: Install software from CD, connect USB cable when prompted.

Tip: For most accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring and sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.

Taking a Measurement

Proper technique ensures accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.
  2. Apply cuff correctly as described in Initial Setup.
  3. Press START/STOP button - device will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Read results on display: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse Rate, and any detection symbols.
  6. Results are automatically stored in memory for the selected user.
  7. For average reading: Take 3 measurements within 10 minutes - average displays automatically after 3rd reading.
  8. Press START/STOP to turn off display or wait for auto power-off (2 minutes).

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not attached to arm. Excessive pressure may cause injury.

PC Connectivity & Software

Transfer measurements to computer for tracking and analysis.

  1. Install Health Management Software from included CD or download latest version from Microlife website.
  2. Connect monitor to PC using USB cable (monitor can be on or off).
  3. Open software and follow on-screen instructions to synchronize data.
  4. View measurements in graph or table format, track trends, print reports.
  5. Software features: Multiple user profiles, medication tracking, doctor visit notes, export to PDF/Excel.
  6. For Mac users: Check Microlife website for compatible software version.

System Requirements: Windows 7/8/10/11, USB port, 100MB free disk space, CD-ROM drive (for installation).

Memory & Data Review

Access stored measurements directly on device or via PC software.

On Device: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings for selected user. Display shows reading number, systolic/diastolic values, pulse rate, date/time, and any detection symbols. When memory is full (99 readings), oldest reading is automatically overwritten.

Memory Clear: To delete all readings for current user: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds until "CLr" appears. Release to clear.

AFIB Detection Results: If AFIB symbol appears, measurement may indicate atrial fibrillation. Consult your physician with these readings. Note: AFIB detection is a screening tool, not a medical diagnosis.
