Applying the Cuff

Correct cuff placement is essential for an accurate reading.

  1. Sit comfortably with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Bare your left arm. Slide your arm through the D-ring loop.
  3. Position the cuff so the artery marker (▼) is over your brachial artery on the inside of your arm.
  4. The lower edge of the cuff should be 2-3 cm above your elbow.
  5. Pull the end of the cuff tight and secure it with the fabric closure.
  6. Ensure the cuff is snug but not too tight (you should be able to fit one finger underneath).

WARNING! Do not apply the cuff over clothing. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for a reliable measurement.

  1. Select your user memory profile (User 1 or 2) using the User button.
  2. Sit still with the cuff applied correctly. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  3. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet until the measurement is complete and the cuff deflates.
  5. Your systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed.
  6. The reading is automatically saved to the selected user's memory.

CAUTION! Do not move or talk during measurement, as this can affect the result.

Understanding the Results

Interpret the values and symbols on the display.

Memory Function

The monitor stores readings for later review.

  1. To recall memory: Press the M button. The display will show the average of the last 3 readings for the selected user.
  2. Press the M button again to scroll through individual stored readings with date and time.
  3. To clear all memory for a user: While in memory mode for that user, press and hold the M button for 5 seconds until "CLr" appears.

Note: Memory capacity may vary (e.g., 60 readings per user).

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures long device life and accurate readings.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the monitor yourself.
