Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD display, START/STOP button, MEMORY button.

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4x AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Plug cuff tube into connector on side of device until it clicks.
  4. Test device: Without wearing cuff, press START/STOP to ensure display activates.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm. "ARTERY" arrow should point to brachial artery on inner arm.
  3. Cuff edge should be 2-3 cm above elbow. Tube should run down center of arm.
  4. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Relax, do not talk or move.
  5. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still until measurement completes and cuff deflates fully.
  7. Read results on display. Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate will show.
  8. Device automatically stores reading in current user's memory.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Device stores 60 measurements for each of two users.

  1. Select user: Press MEMORY button briefly to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  2. View memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 2 seconds to enter memory mode.
  3. Scroll: Press START/STOP to scroll through stored measurements (most recent first).
  4. Exit: Press MEMORY again or wait 30 seconds to return to normal mode.
  5. Clear memory: In memory mode, press and hold both buttons for 5 seconds to clear current user's memory.

Note: When memory is full, oldest reading is automatically deleted to store new one.

Understanding Results

WHO classification bar on display shows:

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if irregular heartbeat is detected during measurement. If symbol appears frequently, consult your physician.

Measurement Range: Pressure: 0-299 mmHg, Pulse: 40-199 beats/minute.

Accuracy: Pressure: ±3 mmHg, Pulse: ±5% of reading.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug cuff and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not use liquids or abrasives.
  2. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth if soiled. Do not immerse in water.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  5. Have device checked for accuracy every 2 years.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble device. No user-serviceable parts inside.
