Initial Setup

Prepare monitor for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds; use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Attach Cuff: Connect air tube to monitor port (firmly push until click).
  4. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow; ensure tube aligns with artery.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps.

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes in a chair with back support.
  2. Place cuff on left arm (or as advised by doctor) at heart level.
  3. Press START/STOP button; cuff inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during inflation and deflation.
  5. Read results on display; note systolic, diastolic, pulse, and any symbols.
  6. To turn off, press START/STOP again or wait for auto shut-off.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is not over clothing.

Understanding Results

Display shows systolic pressure (top number), diastolic pressure (bottom number), pulse rate, and WHO indicator.

Memory Function

Stores readings for two users separately.

  1. Select User: Press User button to choose User 1 or User 2 icon.
  2. Store Reading: After measurement, reading is automatically saved to selected user.
  3. Recall Memory: Press Memory button to scroll through stored readings; display shows average of last 3 readings if enabled.
  4. Clear Memory: In memory mode, press and hold Memory button for 5 seconds to delete all readings for current user.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed. Date and time reset if batteries are depleted.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth; do not use solvents or abrasives.
  2. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  3. Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.
  4. Inspect cuff periodically for wear or leaks; replace if damaged.
