Device Overview

Front: LCD display, START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER 1/2 selector. Side: AC adapter port. Rear: Battery compartment.

Display Symbols: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, WHO bar graph, User indicator, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Date/Time, Battery icon, Memory full icon.

Cuff: Velcro closure, artery marker, metal ring for tube connection.

Initial Setup

Power on device; set date and time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect air tube to port on side of monitor.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.

Tip: For first use, rest for 5 minutes before taking a measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Supports seated measurements on left arm.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes, feet flat, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff: Place on bare upper arm, artery marker over brachial artery, 2-3 cm above elbow.
  3. Position arm: Rest on table with cuff at heart level.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display after deflation.
  7. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff without proper placement. Excessive pressure may cause injury.

Memory Function

Stores 99 measurements per user with date/time stamp.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY and START/STOP for 3 seconds (resets current user's memory).
  4. Average: Last 3 measurements average displays when memory is viewed.

Note: Memory full icon appears when 99 measurements are stored.

Care & Maintenance

Remove batteries before cleaning. Use slightly damp cloth; do not immerse.

  1. Cuff: Wipe with damp cloth; air dry completely.
  2. Monitor: Clean with dry cloth; avoid liquids.
  3. Storage: Keep in case, away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
  4. Batteries: Replace when low battery icon appears. Remove if not used for extended period.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasives. Do not disassemble.
