Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Ensure air tube is firmly connected to monitor.
  4. Power test: Press START/STOP briefly to verify display activates.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Position arm: Keep cuff at heart level, relax arm on table.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP, remain still and quiet during inflation/deflation.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, pulse appear on display. WHO bar shows category.
  6. For MAM mode: Device automatically takes 3 readings with 30-second pauses, then displays average.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Bluetooth & App Connectivity

Sync data with Microlife Connected Health app (iOS/Android).

  1. Download app: Search "Microlife Connected Health" in App Store or Google Play.
  2. Enable Bluetooth: On smartphone, turn Bluetooth ON.
  3. Pair device: Press Bluetooth button on monitor until icon flashes, select "BP B3 BT" in app.
  4. Transfer data: Measurements automatically sync to app after each reading.
  5. View trends: App displays graphs, averages, and allows data sharing with healthcare providers.

Note: Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet). Ensure no obstacles between devices.

Memory & Data Review

Store and review up to 99 readings per user.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 (icon shows on display).
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings (oldest to newest).
  3. Clear memory: In memory mode, press and hold MEMORY for 5 seconds to delete all readings for current user.
  4. Average calculation: Device automatically calculates average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.

Warning: Clearing memory is permanent. Sync to app first if you wish to preserve data.
