Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, Memory button, User button (1/2), LCD display.

Setting Up the Monitor

Prepare the device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment on back, insert 4 AA batteries observing correct polarity.
  2. Connect cuff: Plug air tube firmly into socket on left side of monitor.
  3. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2 for memory storage.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.
  2. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  3. Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Tube should run down center of arm.
  4. Secure cuff snugly using D-ring (not too tight). Cuff fit indicator should show OK symbol.
  5. Position arm so cuff is at heart level. Rest arm on table.
  6. Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  7. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  8. Results display automatically with systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate.
  9. Device deflates and turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Understanding Results

The display shows systolic pressure (top number), diastolic pressure (middle number), and pulse rate (bottom number).

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if irregular pulse is detected during measurement. Consult your physician if this appears frequently.

Average Value: When three measurements are taken within 10 minutes, the average of the last three displays briefly after the third result.

Memory Function

Stores 30 measurements for each of two users.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button once to see last measurement. Press again to scroll through stored values.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold USER and MEMORY buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to clear all memory for current user.
  4. Memory full: When 30 measurements are stored, oldest entry is automatically deleted when new one is added.

NOTE: Memory is preserved when batteries are changed if done within 3 minutes.

Battery & Power

WARNING! Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period. Do not use rechargeable batteries unless specified.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug air tube and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Wipe monitor with slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth. Do not machine wash.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and strong magnetic fields.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, thinners, or abrasive cleaners. Never wash cuff in washing machine.
