Specifications

Device Overview

Access functions via the START/STOP button and MEMORY button. Front Panel: Large LCD Display, START/STOP Button, MEMORY Button, Battery Compartment.

Display Symbols: User Indicator (1 or 2), Systolic Pressure, Diastolic Pressure, Pulse Rate, Irregular Heartbeat Symbol, WHO Classification Bar, Date/Time, Battery Indicator, Memory Full Indicator, Cuff Error Symbol.

Settings: Date/Time setup, User selection (1 or 2), Memory recall, Average value display.

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect optional AC adapter. Set date and time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, press MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting.
  3. Select User: Briefly press MEMORY button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  4. Apply Cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure tube is centered over artery.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit in a quiet, comfortable environment.

Taking a Measurement

Supports single measurement and average of last 3 readings.

  1. Prepare: Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat on floor. Rest arm on table at heart level.
  2. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff snugly around bare arm. The cuff mark (●) should align with artery.
  3. Start: Press START/STOP button. The device will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain Still: Do not move or talk during inflation and measurement.
  5. Read Results: Systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate display. The WHO bar graph lights up.
  6. Automatic Deflation: Cuff deflates completely. Results are stored automatically for the selected user.
  7. Power Off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm. Do not take measurements more than once every 3 minutes on the same arm.

Memory Function

Recall stored measurements or calculate average.

  1. Recall Memory: Press MEMORY button briefly. The last measurement for the selected user displays. Press again to scroll through previous readings.
  2. View Average: While in memory mode, press and hold START/STOP for 2 seconds to display the average of the last 3 measurements taken within the last 10 minutes.
  3. Clear Memory: To clear memory for the selected user, remove all batteries for 5 minutes. Note: This clears memory for both users.

Note: When memory is full, the oldest reading is overwritten by the newest.

Care & Maintenance

Remove batteries before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth only; do not use liquids or abrasives.

  1. Clean Cuff: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Do not machine wash. Air dry completely.
  2. Clean Device: Wipe main unit with a dry cloth.
  3. Storage: Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place. Do not store with cuff tightly wrapped.
  4. Batteries: Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears. Remove batteries if device will not be used for an extended period.

CAUTION! Do not immerse any part of the device in water. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or thinners for cleaning.
