Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button, SET button. Display: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, Date/Time, User indicator, Battery indicator, Hypertension indicator (color zones).

Connections: Cuff tube connector, AC adapter socket. Cuff: Velcro closure, air tube, artery marker.

First-Time Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter. Set date and time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4x AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect cuff tube to device connector until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.

Tip: Use AC adapter for prolonged use to conserve batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Artery marker should align with brachial artery.
  3. Keep cuff at heart level. Rest arm on table.
  4. Press START/STOP. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Results display automatically with WHO classification color.
  7. Cuff deflates completely. Press START/STOP to turn off.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is not too tight or loose.

Memory Function

Stores 99 measurements per user with date/time stamp.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Average value: Displays average of last 3 measurements for current user.
  3. Clear memory: Hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds until display clears.
  4. Switch users: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water.

  1. Store in provided case when not in use.
  2. Keep away from extreme temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.
  3. Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period.
  4. Replace cuff if it becomes damaged or loses elasticity.
  5. Do not disassemble device. No user-serviceable parts inside.
