Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD Display, START/STOP Button. Side: Battery Compartment, Cuff Socket. Cuff: Cloth wrap with metal D-ring, air tube, and artery marker.

Display Symbols: Systolic Pressure, Diastolic Pressure, Pulse Rate, Irregular Heartbeat Symbol (heart icon), Hypertension Indicator Bar, Memory Recall Icon, Battery Indicator, Date/Time.

Initial Setup

Prepare the device for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing correct polarity (+/-).
  2. Set Date & Time: Press the MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Connect Cuff: Plug the cuff tube firmly into the socket on the side of the monitor.

Tip: Perform setup at room temperature (10°C to 40°C). Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit comfortably with feet flat on the floor.
  2. Apply the cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm. The artery marker (△) should align with your brachial artery. Wrap snugly, leaving 1-2 cm space above elbow.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not move or talk until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate will display. Note any warning symbols.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around an arm.

Understanding Results

The display shows your blood pressure and pulse. Refer to the color-coded bar graph based on WHO guidelines.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: If this icon appears, the measurement may have been affected by movement or an irregular pulse. Remain still and take another measurement. If it appears frequently, consult your physician.

Memory Function

The device automatically stores readings with date and time.

  1. To recall memory: Press the MEMORY button. The most recent reading displays.
  2. Scroll through memory: Press MEMORY again to view older readings.
  3. Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold START/STOP for 3 seconds. "CLr" will flash.

Note: Memory is cleared when batteries are removed. For long-term tracking, record readings in a logbook.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug cuff and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean monitor and cuff with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.
  3. Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Do not bend or kink the air tube.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device. Contact authorized service.

Battery Information

Disposal: Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Do not dispose of in household trash.
