Before First Use

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on left arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  3. Position cuff 2-3 cm above elbow with tube facing downward.
  4. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button; device will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Reading displays with systolic/diastolic pressures and pulse rate.
  8. Device deflates automatically; results are stored in memory.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level for accurate results.

Memory Function
