Device Overview

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect cuff tube to device connector until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press MEMORY button to toggle between User 1 (U1) and User 2 (U2).

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries or AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, aligning artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  4. Press START/STOP button - device inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Results display with systolic, diastolic, pulse rate, and WHO classification.
  7. Device deflates automatically; note reading for your records.

Tip: Take 2-3 readings with 1-minute intervals for most accurate average.

Memory & Data Management

Store and review measurements.

  1. Select user: Press MEMORY to choose U1 or U2 before measurement.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY after device is on (but before START) to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY for 5 seconds while in memory mode to delete current user's data.
  4. Memory full: When 99 readings stored, oldest reading is automatically overwritten.

Note: Each user's memory is independent; switching users does not affect other's data.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures long device life.

  1. Clean device with soft, dry cloth only; no liquids or chemicals.
  2. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Remove batteries if not using for extended period (more than 3 months).
  4. Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.
  5. Do not disassemble device; no user-serviceable parts inside.
