Device Overview

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect cuff: Plug cuff tube into connector on side of device.
  3. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  5. Apply cuff correctly: Place cuff on bare upper arm with artery marker over brachial artery.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably: Back supported, feet flat, arm resting on table at heart level.
  2. Apply cuff: Position 1-2 cm above elbow, tighten snugly but not too tight.
  3. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressures and pulse rate display automatically.
  6. Store reading: Measurement automatically stores to selected user memory.
  7. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm. Do not bend tube excessively.

Memory Function

Stores up to 99 measurements per user.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average function: Displays average of last 3 readings when in memory mode.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY and USER buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
  5. Date/time stamp: Each reading includes date and time of measurement.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 99 measurements are stored for a user.
