| Clinically Validated | Meets international protocol standards for accuracy. |
Read all instructions before use. This device is for self-measurement, not for continuous monitoring or medical diagnosis.
WARNING! The AFIB detection is a screening tool, not a diagnosis. Always consult a physician for interpretation of results.
Inspect contents upon unpacking. Contact your retailer if anything is missing or damaged.
Front Panel:
Side/Back:
Display Symbols: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, AFIB symbol, Irregular Heartbeat symbol, User indicator (1/2), Memory icon, Battery icon, WHO classification bar, Date & Time.
Before first use, install batteries and set the date/time.
Note: Use only alkaline batteries. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
Correct cuff placement is essential for an accurate reading.
Tip: Always use the same arm for consistent measurements.
WARNING! If the cuff feels too tight during inflation, press START/STOP immediately to stop and deflate.
| Symbol | Meaning |
|---|---|
| SYS / DIA | Systolic and Diastolic blood pressure values (mmHg). |
| Pulse Icon | Heart rate per minute (Pulse). |
| AFIB Symbol | A potential atrial fibrillation episode was detected during the measurement. Consult your physician. |
| Irregular Heartbeat Symbol | An irregular heartbeat was detected (not necessarily AFIB). |
| User 1 / 2 | Indicates which user's memory is active. |
| Memory (M) Icon | Indicates memory recall mode or that data is stored. |
| Battery Icon | Shows remaining battery power. Replace when empty. |
| WHO Bar | Color-coded bar (from green to red) indicating blood pressure category based on WHO guidelines. |
| Clock Icon | Indicates date and time display in memory mode. |
Memory Recall: The device stores up to 100 measurements for each of the two users.
Average Function: After taking 3 measurements within 10 minutes, the device automatically calculates and displays the average of those 3 readings. The word "AVG" appears on the display.
Clearing Memory: To delete all data for the currently selected user, press and hold the USER button while in memory mode until "CLR" flashes, then release.
The BP W70 uses advanced algorithms to analyze your pulse wave during measurement.
Important: For accurate AFIB screening, it is crucial to remain perfectly still and silent during the measurement. Movement can cause false positives.
Proper care ensures long device life and accurate readings.
CAUTION! Never attempt to repair the device yourself. Do not expose to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, or direct sunlight.
| Symptom / Error | Possible Cause | Corrective Action |
|---|---|---|
| Display is blank | Dead batteries; incorrect installation. | Replace all 4 batteries; ensure correct polarity. |
| Err C / Err P | Cuff not connected; air leak in system. | Ensure cuff tube is plugged in firmly; check cuff for holes/tears. |
| Err E | Measurement error. | Reapply cuff correctly, remain still, and retry. |
| Inconsistent readings | Movement; incorrect cuff position; recent activity. | Rest for 5 mins, apply cuff properly, stay still during measurement. |
| AFIB symbol appears frequently | Movement during measurement; actual arrhythmia. | Ensure perfect stillness. If symbol persists over multiple calm measurements, consult a doctor. |
| Cuff does not inflate | Blocked tube; weak batteries. | Check tube for kinks; replace batteries. |
| Memory full | 200 total measurements stored. | Delete old measurements for a user to free space. |
Reset: Removing the batteries for a few minutes will reset the device (date/time and memory will be lost).
