Safety Information

Read all instructions before use. For personal home use only.

  1. Do not use on infants, children, or persons unable to express themselves.
  2. Consult physician before use if you have arrhythmia, pre-eclampsia, or arterial sclerosis.
  3. Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same arm.
  4. Do not use while moving, talking, or immediately after exercise/meals.
  5. Keep device away from strong electromagnetic fields (MRI, mobile phones).

Cuff: Velcro closure, air tube, artery marker (align with brachial artery).

Initial Setup

First-time preparation and settings.

  1. Install batteries: Open compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 (display shows icon).
  4. Apply cuff correctly: Wrap on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker.

CAUTION! Use correct cuff size. Too small/large cuff affects accuracy. Arm circumference must be 22-42 cm.

Taking a Measurement

Proper measurement procedure for accurate results.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid caffeine, smoking, exercise 30 minutes prior.
  3. Apply cuff to left arm (or as directed by physician) at heart level.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Device inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement. Do not move arm or talk.
  6. Results display: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, WHO classification.
  7. If IHD symbol appears, measurement may be repeated after 2 minutes.
  8. Device automatically stores reading with timestamp.

Tip: Take measurements at same time daily for consistent tracking.

Memory & Data Management

Two independent user memories with 60 measurements each.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings (newest first).
  3. Automatic average: After 3 consecutive measurements within 10 minutes, AVG icon appears showing average.
  4. Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold MEMORY for 5 seconds to clear current user's data.
  5. Date/Time stamp: All readings include measurement date and time.

Note: Memory full indicator (FULL) appears when 60 measurements stored. Oldest reading is overwritten.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accuracy and longevity.

  1. Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not use liquids or solvents.
  2. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Remove batteries if not used for extended period (3+ months).
  4. Check cuff periodically for wear, cracks, or leaks.
  5. Do not disassemble device. No user-serviceable parts inside.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water. Avoid extreme temperatures (>40°C or <10°C).
